About us

Welcome to Southwest Oxford County Nutrition Inc.

The following is a list of towns we serve in the Oxford County area.

  • Brownfield
  • Chatham
  • Denmark
  • Fryeburg
  • Hiram
  • Lovell
  • Porter
  • Stoneham
  • Stow

We turn no one away who is in need of help. If you do not live in one of the towns we serve, we will give you food once and refer you to a food pantry in your area.

For families who are displaced (burned out, washed out, or for any reason forced to leave their homes), we provide Emergency Food Boxes at any time.

If you simply need food, boxes are available on Tuesdays after 5:30 pm or Fridays after 9:30 am by appointment only. You must call 207-935-2620.

To receive food, you must come and register with the pantry. You will need to provide proof of residency in one of the towns we serve to qualify for further food distributions. For eligibility details, go to the Forms tab.

Closing Policy

If the schools in MSAD #72 are closed, all meetings and distributions will also be canceled. Closings will be posted on local television stations, channels 6, 8, and 13. If you are in doubt call 207-935-2620 for more info.
